About his growth mindset

Franklin always had a passion for learning and a drive to succeed.
However as a child he struggled with being highly intelligent. Next to that he probably had undiagnosed ADD.
He only recently learned this when it got discovered on his son who is now 12 years old, it made Franklin recognize his own behaviour patterns.
Growing up this created problems at home and also at school wich caused him to be placed in a childrenshome where he ended up living from his 8th untill 11th.
After succesfull finishing secondairy school he wanted to become a barber and got an education in the hairindustry sector.
Franklin went on vacation in Portugal, lost his passport and ended up spending 5 years there. To make a living in Portugal he opened his own barbershop, this is where he developed his people skills and his attention to detail.
Eventually he made the decision to come back to Rotterdam.
Once back he found a new interest and made his way into the DJ scene where he played on several parties, festivals and even has a nr1 hit. However due to personal circumstances  Franklin started to get anxiety attacks while perfoming. His son had just been born and beeing a newly dad this became a burden that took the pleasure away, this caused him to burn out and eventually stop Dj-ing.

Franklin being a creative mind, is always restless, and soon he found himself looking for new challenges again.
He started working as a designer for a marketing-agency, and discovered a new passion. He began working in the marketing field, where he quickly developed his expertise thanks to his dedication and hard work.

Franklin wanted to make a name for himself and do things his own way. So, he started his own marketing company fedmedia, it quickly became a huge success. His unique approach to marketing, his attention to detail, and his ability to connect with people made him stand out in a crowded field.

Franklin is responsible for the development of Bayo’s brandnew website which we are extremely proud of and greatfull for.

Altough in the past he had stopped DJ-ing due to circumstances, last year he slowly started picking it up again.
After the summer he decided to take it to the next level and has played at local clubs and parties recently.
This time his main focus is in the direction of the  afro-tech/ amapiano scene. His natural talent and infectious energy has allready caught the attention of industry insiders. Franklin got booked for two major festivals this summer.

As u can tell Franklin never lets hard times hold him back. In fact, he has turned his struggles into his greatest strengths, and it has led him to a successful career as a marketing guru and a rising star DJ.

If for any reason u may struggle to believe that anything u set your mind to is possible, take a page out of Franklins book as an example that commitment and the right mindset eventually will pay off.
